How long should I heat my box?

With your meals, you’ll also receive simple tips and instructions on how to eat.food as fresh as possible and more! Your meal is already pre-cooked so simply heat up to your standard hot for each meal. Start at about 2 minutes, stir and add an additional minute stopping and stirring in between each. These meals can be overcooked, so be careful.

What types of meal plans do you offer?

We offer 2 types, where each meal is different

Option 1: A complete meal plan where we eliminate the grocery store and prep time. We provide your breakfast, lunch dinner, and snack for the day or modify any way you’d like with 4 meals per day.

Option 2: A build your own. From breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, you can create each meal. Choose how many of each meal and how many days you’d like them. For example: 4 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 9 dinners, and 1 snack.

$8- lunch (meat and veggie)

$9- dinner (meat, protein and complex carb)

What should I expect for each meal?

Breakfast

All breakfasts are designed so that you’ll receive a complete protein and carbohydrate pair.

Also, they will be labeled according to the number of days you ordered. Sometimes, the protein and carbohydrate are packaged separately. For example, we may give you egg whites with baked oatmeal for Day 1. The egg whites are packaged separately from the oatmeal.

We would write a 1 on the egg white container and a 1 on the baked oatmeal container, so you know that they are a pair. Some days, you will have a meal that is a combined protein and carbohydrates like Chocolate Protes – a delicious combination of oatmeal and protein powder.

Lunch

You will find boxes in your delivery or pick-up containing just a source of protein and veggies such as chicken with zoodles or ground turkey with roasted carrots – we consider these “lunches”. If you wish to have a starchy carb added to this meal, we can accommodate that for you, as we consider these “dinners.”

Dinners

The “dinner” boxes will contain a protein, veggie and a starchy carbohydrate such as sweet potato, white potato, pasta, or rice.

Snacks

Snacks are compact and generally identifiable. The foods you see are to give you a visual idea of what you might taste, but of course, are not the actual donut. Many of our snacks are vegan and we also use a whey powder with only stevia substitute. You can expect a wide range of things like cookies, pretzels, shakes, or even a hot pocket! You may see a note from the health coaches with suggestions on how to eat the snack. Now, you don’t have to follow the note, it’s just a suggestion!

Sometimes your snacks will be numbered with a circle around the number. This means that your health coach wants you to eat that snack on that particular day. For example, if you see a snack has a 1 with a circle on it, they would like for you to eat that on Day 1. If your snacks do not have numbers, it’s simply your choice.

How are your meal plans priced per ounce?

We have your cost for the 4 oz of protein in the box. Each box contains 4 oz protein and 3 oz veggie for lunch or 4-oz protein, carb, and 3 oz. veggie for dinner. Your cost is based on the protein portions purchased.

Can we upgrade? What is the cost?

If you would like to increase your protein serving per meal, each additional ounce is $1. You may also increase your carbohydrates per meal if desired. Anything over 70 grams of carbs per meal would be an additional $1.00. Over 20g fat is a $1 upgrade per meal. Your Health Coach may decide to help you discount or meet you at your budget goals.

When do I eat my boxes?

It’s up to you! You get to decide if you want breakfast for dinner or even dinner for lunch! Twisted Foods encourages you to find out what works best for you If you have questions about your meal boxes, simply contact your health coach and he/she will be happy to talk you through your order!!!

What are the prices?

The pricing of the COMPLETE PLAN:

  • $85 per week for 3 days a week
  • $125 per week for 5 days a week
  • $160 per week for 7 days a week


The pricing for the BUILD YOUR OWN PLAN:

  • $5/Breakfast
  • $8/Lunch
  • $9/Dinner
  • $5/Snack

What are shipping costs?

Shipping cost are $35 for a small box - fits up to 21 meals or a week of food.

As of April 5, 2020, shipping cost are $45 for a large box- fits up to 56 meals or 2 weeks of food (saving you one week of shipping cost). However, we do anticipate an increase in this cost in the very near future. Unfortunately, we can’t accept responsibility for any shipping rate increases.

Can you tell me about the free health coaching?

Both plans also come with free health coaching! This is an invaluable service we offer to you that has a monthly value of $199 Large boxes are currently $55. We want you to be successful in reaching realistic goals. Our health coaches are here to guide you and give you accountability.

Is there a commitment?

Yes, each plan is designed for an 8-week or 12-week commitment or your health coach can work out the best plan for you. This is to ensure you have accountability and to help keep you on track.

For most of our clients, we become meal planner, grocery shopper, meal prepper and chef all rolled into one! In other words, we help our clients to better manage their busy lives.

We request your commitment to any weekly customizations, as they do require additional time and paperwork. We have an efficient operating plan in place and are committed to your 100% satisfaction in designing your unique meal plan.

If you are not in a position to commit to a meal prep plan, it’s easy to order meals with no commitment on our website. If you don't want to commit you can simply go to our website and order delicious pre-made meals with no commitment.

Is there a sign-up fee?

Yes, $50 enrollment fee (reduced from $99 to celebrate our new store’s launching).

We have also been known to waive enrollment...if you are invested in yourself, we are invested in you, too.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes, if you need to cancel your contract, we understand. Sometimes life happens or perhaps, we’re just not the right company for you. We ask that you provide a 7-day notice and the fee is $149.99. Please understand that you will still be respo your payment as well as the cancellation fee when you choose to terminate your contract.

How do we provide feedback regarding our meal prep?

At Twisted Foods we value your feedback. Communication is key for any change to happen because we can’t help you if we don’t know what’s going on! Sometimes, clients stall in their progress and the change needed can be as simple as adjusting water intake, macro distributions, exercise, etc. Please email us, or message us on the appropriate Facebook page. Please note that we respond Monday-Friday during business hours only. Please allow 72 hours for any changes to take effect on your account.

If I am a local when is pick up ready?

Anytime you are! You can pick up any day or days of the week. If you need multiple pickups, just let us know and we will work with you on that! For example: if you have a 7-day prep plan, you may want to pick up the first 3 days on Monday and come back on Wednesday for the last 4 days.

Generally, pick up time is after 4:00 pm, but if necessary we can accommodate an earlier time. Simply notify your health coach via email or our Facebook page!

If my meals are shipped, when should I expect my delivery? What should I do if I don’t receive it?

Check the UPS website for a delivery zone map to determine which day your delivery will arrive. We also encourage you to use your tracking number on the UPS website. You can also give us a call at 870-938-1319 and we’ll do our best to answer any questions concerning your meal delivery package.

You are covered with Twisted Foods and your money will not go to waste. We will always replace any mistakes or ship out a new shipment if the original is lost or damaged.

What should I expect in shipping?

We use (Fedex/UPS) to ship your order and we have had the unfortunate experience of containers being damaged in transit. Typically, this happens when boxes go through 700 lbs of pressure through the conveyor lines of the shipping company.

To minimize this type of damage from our end, we use only flexible plastic containers to plate your meals. As an extra precaution, we will send extra containers so that you may replace your meal in the unusual event that your food container arrives damaged.

IF the food is damaged beyond consumption, please take a photo and send to us IMMEDIATELY through Facebook messenger or email. Please be assured that regardless of who was the culprit of the damage, your 100% satisfaction is our top priority and we will be happy to replace any meals lost due to breakage or damage in shipment.

As a side note, lunches and dinners will not be labeled in your meal box. If you’re feeling confused or overwhelmed, please reach out to your health coach and he or she will be happy to help.

How do I prepare my food?

1- Simply microwave! Be sure to do it in 1-minute increments, so you can stir and be sure to get the right temperature.


2- Heat in Oven- This method is best for removing water and browning or crisping your item back to its thawed state.


3- Stovetop- This is the most preferred method of cooking to make you feel like you cooked a gourmet dinner, perfect for crisping food back to a thawed state and evenly heating distribution.

Please don’t forget to remove any items from the box that you don’t want to be heated, such as dips, sauces, tomatoes, fruit, etc. Also, wait a moment to place any sauces or toppings on your meal so as not to burn yourself.
